Friday was my birthday! We decided to celebrate at Ravinia with our best friends.
Feist provided a nice atmosphere of music to chill to.
The weather was perfect- not too hot, not too buggy, and it turned into a beautiful starry night.
The lawn tickets were sold out, so we got there nice and early to stake out our area.
We had a delicious smorgisborg of picnic food including sandwiches, fruit and a chocolate dessert.
AND Malachi, Kayleigh, and Selah made some tasty cupcakes for me. THANKS KIDS!
We played Phase 10- and I pretty much dominated the game (I AM the birthday girl...)
And when the sun went down, we told stories...
played more games...
laughed...
... and some danced.
Thanks for the great party!! You guys are so FUN and we're so BLESSED to have such awesome friends :)
