Reuniting with friends

Just went to my high school best friend’s wedding in Connecticut. We lost touch over the years, but our bond is still strong. It was fun being there and remembering good old times with Julie (now Dr. Julie) and reminiscing about the crazy stuff we did together.

They had a full out Catholic mass wedding ceremony. The reception was at a gorgeous place on a lake in Monroe, and boy do they know how to party!

The couple had a cute love story- I remember she had the biggest crush on her brother’s best friend in high school, but it took both of them separately moving to Virginia 6 years later for him to notice her and fall in love.

I sat with three friends from marching band. I didn’t know anyone else and it sure was tough not having Adam there with me! Hmm, I don’t think I’ll be going to weddings by myself anymore, ok hun!?
