Who loves popcorn? I do! I do!
Want to help a great 8 year old raise his cub scout dues?? Want some yummy popcorn?? Check out all the great options on this website:
For all you huge OSU fans, there's a special OSU popcorn tin that you could order and then keep forever. Who wouldn't want that?!
If you'd like to order, please do so by Nov. 6. Also, if you live near me, I'd be happy to order your popcorn with my order so that we can save $ on shipping!! Please let me know by Nov. 4th if you want to go in on it with me.
Also, there's an option to donate $25 and they will ship a supply of popcorn to overseas Military Troops! How cool would that be to surprise some of our hard working armed forces with some popcorn?!
I'll make it easy for you: Next Tuesday, remember to- VOTE and ORDER POPCORN!
Matt thanks you all!!!
Love, Aunt Betsy

tag-a-longs
Adam and I tagged along with our friends to a pumpkin patch a couple weeks ago!

It was nearly 90 degrees! But it was really fun hanging out with everyone. The kids seemed to have a great time.

{first three photos by Erica Hang- up and coming professional photographer!}

Last weekend, a couple of us girls went to a ballet recital to see Jana in action. She was fantastic!!

I wouldn't be surprised if she gets into Julliard or another world renowned school!

From left: Kristin (with baby Annalie who'll hopefully arrive any day now!), Jana, Lydia, and me.

And we got a chance to hang out with the kids and Robin a bit.

Micah's definitely no longer the baby!! He's becoming quite the "little big brother"!

Fun times!!

a sister who's loved
Happy Birthday, Karen!!

As I think back to all the great times we had growing up, I realize how you've always looked out for me and made life SO FUN!

(My 16th birthday)

(My surprise graduation party that you planned while 8 months pregnant!)

You are a godly woman and you consistently live out a life of joy, beauty, and sacrificial service toward others.

Thank you for being such a great example of a loving wife and mother.

Have a great day! I love you!

Rendezvousing in Omaha
When we were in Omaha last weekend, we got to visit with Karen, Rick and the kids for a few hours!

They drove 2.5 hours from their home in Kearney just to see us!
(Well, they also went to the zoo, shopped, ate real food, did sightseeing, had a much needed break from middle-of-nowhere USA... but we like to think it was mostly to see us!) ;)

So how did we spend our 5 hours together?? AT THE MALL!
Actually 2 of them, and we all had a blast and still had a chance to get caught up.
There was a HUGE ferris wheel inside this sports store and daredevil Carly dragged Karen and I on it with her. :)

Ok, so I may have been a little over-dramatic. But is was really high!!

Fun times!! Let's do it again, Deg's!! Love you and miss you guys.

gaining a sister in law
Adam's brother, Aaron, got married!

The wedding was in Omaha, NE. It was a fun weekend of hanging out with everyone, meeting Anna's family, and checking out their apartment.

The rehearsal went well. The dinner was sooo delicious. And we had so much fun at the "outcasts" table (as Dad put it!) talking with Grandma, Pastor Tito and Amy!!

Rebekah was an adorable flower girl! She was a bit shy, but she made it down the aisle (running into Papa's arms)!!

The beautiful bride...

I like this picture... :)

The ceremony was very moving. I got to read Colossians 3:12-17, the passage that the message was on. The pastor was choked up from the beginning. The bride and groom and both Mom's and Dad's (and me!) shed some tears... it was very touching for all!!

The siblings...

The reception was at a very nice golf course. Guests had lots of food, drink and fun well into the night!

They showed a cute slideshow of baby pictures and the pictures of them dating.

Mom and Aaron looked so natural as they danced.

Rebekah loved dancing too- as long as no one was watching her. At one point, she had been dancing a lot by herself, and as soon as we tried to dance with her, she ran under the table to hide!

Grandma, Amy, cousins Rhodric and Desmond, and Adam and I joined in on the dancing too!

As the best man, Adam gave a toast and he did a fantastic job- a perfect balance of humor and meaningful encouragement.

I think he looks a lot like his Grandpa Bond here...

Congrats Anna and Aaron!! We are so happy for you two. Hope you are having a blast in Hawaii!
