at Grandma and Grandpa’s
In May, Lydia took her first airplane trip to Connecticut to visit Grandma and Grandpa!
She did great on the plane despite the early departure!
She loved hanging out with Grandpa. He did such a great job of getting her to sleep!!
At Grandma’s, babies get to take baths in a big tupperware bowl! Lydia fit perfectly in it- with her legs fully extended, she sat up straight making it easy to bathe her ;)
We also took a road trip to New Hampshire to see my cousin, Tim, get married. It was Lydia’s first wedding… she slept for most of it, but at least she looked cute!
Back at home we added Lydia to Grandma’s wall of tracking the grandchildrens’ heights!
Lydia sure loved visiting you, Grandma and Grandpa! Hope we can come again soon!

a cousin
Lydia’s cousins were all dressed in the same Pooh outfit at 3 months:
(David, Micah, Andrew, Hannah)
Here’s Lydia in the same outfit at 3 months. Do you see a resemblance??

4 months already!?
Yes! Lydia is now 4 months old! She is a happy and smiley baby! She’s weighing in at 13lbs, 14oz (50%) and 25in (90%!!).
She’s been rolling all over the place. One day I put her on her mat. A couple minutes later I looked over and couldn’t even see her- she had rolled off her mat and was playing between the couch and the coffee table!
She’s still not sleeping through the night, but her sleep stretches have been much better and her naps are slowing getting a little longer than 30 minutes :)
This month, she started sucking her thumb occasionally. She also discovered her toes and figured out how good they taste!
Lydia “tasted” her first Starbucks coffee and Portillos chocolate shake ;) (not really)
She actually did try a watermelon snow cone made by her cousin Hannah and really seemed to enjoy it!! She cried when we took it away!
We’ve started to see glimpses of her laugh. It’s so fun!
This next month were looking forward to her first plane trip, wedding, and starting solid foods! wow!
